Yes. Add notes, transcripts, or project files to a project in Doppel. You can work with existing material without recording a new meeting. Supported text formats include Markdown, PDF, Word, RTF, SRT, and VTT; scanned pages need a text export.
How do I check an answer or correct a mistake?
Follow a source link back to the original material. In a project brief, you can review proposed decisions and changes, correct source associations, and keep confirmed corrections with the project. AI can make mistakes; source links let you check important claims.
Does it have to record my screen or meetings?
No. Start with files you choose to add. Screen context, microphone, calendar, and other sources have their own permissions. You decide which ones to enable. See the permission guide.
What stays on my Mac?
Local files, captured context, meeting content, and on-device AI processing stay on your Mac. Setup downloads, web search, connected services, and billing use external providers for those features. See exactly what uses the network.
What Mac do I need?
Apple Silicon and macOS 15.0 or later. We recommend 16 GB of memory and 20 GB of free disk space during setup. Doppel’s compact local assistant is designed for a 16 GB Mac. Downloads include about 2.4 GB for the assistant, plus supporting search and speech files; afterward, local storage grows with your sources and retention settings. See setup details.
What happens after the trial?
Your first 30 days include all Pro features. No card, account, or automatic charge. Afterward, Doppel continues on Free unless you buy Pro. Saved chats, notes, transcripts, and exports remain accessible; older search history follows your plan’s limits. Trial expiry never deletes your local memory.
Can I cancel Pro?
Manage or cancel directly from Settings → Plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term unless checkout shows otherwise, then Free limits apply. No local memory is deleted. If you buy during your trial, the paid term begins at checkout; unused trial time does not postpone billing. Read the plan details.
